Morning Call - September 20, 2016
A lot of cloud
Small amounts rain or drizzle

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 20th September 2016
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Some sunshine west & north

Good morning,

The remains of a front are located across central & southern Britain today, producing a lot of cloud, and a little drizzly rain, although amounting to very little for most places.

Small risk of a local heavier shower in the south-east. There may be some breaks in the cloud, these likely best for northern & western England & Wales, particularly coastal areas.

Some hazy sun for Scotland, best to the north-east of the Highlands. Western Scotland and Northern Ireland may stay cloudy, with a little drizzle over hills.

A freshening southerly breeze in the far west. Mostly very light winds elsewhere across Britain.

Today's top temperatures will be 15 to 18C for many places, locally lower where rain lingers, but may rise to 20 or 21C should brighter skies develop in the south.

Have a great day.
Garry
