A spell of wet and very windy weather is possible across France through the day, perhaps with gales, while some significant snowfall is possible across the Alps and parts of Switzerland, as more unsettled weather also spills southwards into parts of the Med, with rain or showers arriving across Italy. Further wintry weather is expected across much of Scandinavia with further snow in Norway, Sweden and Finland in particular. Best of the weather through the day likely across far eastern areas of the Med where it will be mainly dry with some sunny spells in Greece and Turkey, for example.
