Cloudy and wet in the Mediterranean, drier to the north


Wednesday
An unsettled day in Spain and Portugal. Rain affects many central and northern areas, some of this heavy. Patchy rain to the east and south and feeling cool. Unsettled in the Balearics too with some outbreaks of rain here. Low pressure brings rain, some heavy to central and southern Italy. Rain in western Greece but better to the east. Turkey should be dry and sunny.
Rain and cloud afecting the west of France on Wednesday. The Low Countries and much of western Germany should be dry with sunny spells although rain in eastern Germany. Poland will have rain in the west but the east should be dry and mild. Rain too in Hungary and eastern Austria, but fair to the west and in Switzerland.
Denmark and southern Norway will be breezy with cloud and some outbreaks of rain here. Fair in the baltic States and Finland as well as Sweden. A fair day to come in central and northern Norway.


Thursday
Cloud and rain in northern parts of Spain. Drier to the south with some bright or sunny spells. A cloudy day in Majorca, Ibiza and Menorca with more outbreaks of rain. Wet for Corsica and Sardinia with this rain extending into Italy. Greece will have a day of sunshine and showers. heavy showers in Turkey, some of these thundery.
Cloud and rain in southern France with some sleet here too. Drier in northern France with sunny spells. Broken cloud and some bright weather for the Low Countries. Chilly in Germany with some sunny spells, but cloud and drizzle affecting Poland. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland will have broken cloud.
Rather cloudy in Denmark with some drizzle or patchy rain here. Cold but dry in the Baltic States and Finland as well as northern Sweden. Souther Sweden will be cloudier with some light snow, this affecting southern Norway too.
