Saturday
A wet and windy morning with outbreaks of heavy rain for much of England and Wales and this moves into southern Scotland this morning and into all of Scotland by the afternoon. The rain across central and southern England and Wales will be replaced by heavy, blustery showers and sunnier spells, merging into longer spells of rain across Wales and the West county. The winds will be strong around western coasts with gusts of 50 to 60 mph possible. Look for highs of 16 to 21C.
Saturday Night
It stays very windy with gales in the south west. Heavy spells of rain will affect Wales along with southern parts of England and this spreads into northern England in the night. Much drier though for the south east of England. Just a few showers across Scotland tonight with rain for Northern Ireland. Expect lows of 10 to 15C.
Sunday
Continued windy today and this morning there will be outbreaks of steady rain across England, southern Scotland and Northern Ireland with heavy showers across Wales. In the afternoon expect frequent and heavy showers with a risk of thunder across much of Britain. Through the evening and night all areas will have further spells of rain or some heavy showers. Highs of 14 to 18C.
Monday
With low pressure centred over England we're basically looking at a very showery day across all but perhaps Northern Ireland where it should stay dry. The bulk of Britain will have some sunshine but plenty of heavy showers with a risk of thunder. The showers will tend to die away from southern England through the evening but persist across many other areas. Highs of 14 to 18C.
