Temperatures Slowly Rising

Deep low pressure across the country is going to weaken as it slips south into France. Gradually, the weather will become better as we go through the rest of this week as we lose that heavy persistent rain in favour of showers and the winds become lighter. But overall the weather will remain unsettled mode.

Friday 28/09/12
In the morning a band of rain will lie across northern England, Wales and southwest England. This pushes into central, southern parts of England in the afternoon. Across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northwest England look for a mix of sunny spells and occasional showers. The rain clears this evening, leaving most parts of the country dry and mostly clear in the night. Expect highs of 12 to 16C.


Saturday 29/09/12
Apart from a few showers across northwest England and Scotland, most parts of the United Kingdom will have a fair, dry and mostly sunny day. Outbreaks of rain spread in across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England in the night. Expect maximum temperatures of 12 to 16C.
 


Sunday 30/09/12
Central and southern parts of England should be dry today with the best of the sunshine. The north and west can expect outbreaks of rain with showers coming into western Scotland. A band of rain will affect southern parts of England and East Anglia and the night Expect high temperatures of 13 to 18C.
 


Monday 01/10/12
Any rain across the far southeast soon clears away early this morning, but overall it's a day of sunny spells and showers across much of Britain. Few showers are expected across eastern parts of Scotland and England. Top temperatures of 12 to 17C.

 
 
 


Tuesday 02/10/12
Outbreaks of rain are expected across the north and west. This will push into central areas later in the day. Staying dry in the south east until tonight. Expect top temperatures of 12 to 16C.

Wednesday 03/10/12
Early, residual rain across East Anglia and the southeast will soon clear away leaving a mainly dry and mostly sunny day. Occasional showers are expected across western and northern parts of Britain with the rest of the country fair, dry. Cooler today with high temperatures of 10 to 14C.
