Not Quite so Hot for the Weekend
Overall high pressure is expected to dominate the country and this will keep most parts of the United Kingdom settled and dry, although a few showers can't be ruled out. It will also be very warm initially before temperatures drop a few degrees for the weekend.

Saturday 28/05/12 It will be feeling quite so one today with the brisk east wind blowing across the country. It will be a dry day to come for all parts of Britain with sunny spells. Continued dry and mostly clear tonight. Expect highs of 18 to 22C.
Sunday 27/05/12 It remains quite breezy on Sunday, especially across southwest England will be very windy. There is a risk of some scattered showers or light rain across South Wales and southwest England, but overall it will be dry with sunny spells. A dry night across the country, although a few showers may linger in the south west. Highs of 17 to 20C.
Monday 28/05/12 We lose that brisk eastern northeast wind today so it will feel warmer. Sots of dry weather to come across the United Kingdom today with sunny spells and just a scattering of showers are possible across south western parts of England and Wales. Expect highs of 17 to 22C.
Tuesday 29/05/12 Fine and dry across the country this morning with early morning fog clearing to sunny spells. As it becomes warmer this afternoon, a few showers may form across central and eastern parts of England and Scotland. Showers may turning heavy and more widespread by the end of the afternoon and continue through the evening with a few into the night. Maximum temperatures of 18 to 23C.
Wednesday 30/05/12 High pressure is expected to dominate and keep much of the United Kingdom settled and dry with sunny spells although scattering of showers are possible cross southern parts of England, northern Scotland. Expect top temperatures of 18 to 22C.
Thursday 31/05/12 Expect little change across the country today with most parts having a dry morning but more cloud and a few showers will develop in the afternoon this becomes warmer. Many areas may escape showers. Expect highs of 18 to 23C.
