Rain across northern and western Scotland on Saturday morning, this heavy at times and lasting throughout the day. For the rest of the UK, and the whole of Ireland the morning will be bright with some sunny spells. There will be scattering of showers over eastern England, the risk of these tending to increase in the afternoon with more cloud here too. More scattered showers affecting western areas, althogh most places will be dry. Highs at 9 to 13C.

Cloud could affect the coasts of northwest England, although for most there will be clear spells and it should be dry. A further area of cloud will extend from southern Ireland to southwest England bringing more cloud here and some outbreaks of mainly light rain. Some cloud and light rain may drift onto the coasts of northeast England. A cold night with temperatures falling to close to freezing under the clear skies at 0 to 3C, but nearer 6C under cloudier skies.
Low pressire passes to the south of the UK on Sunday, with the flow turning more to the north across the country. A weakening occluded front slips south through Scotland taking cloud and some outbreaks of rain with it. For many parts it will be a cold start to the day, but a bright one with some good spells of sunshine. A scattered of showers affecting eastern coasts. There could be some early cloud along southern coasts of England with a few spots of rain at first, but these clearing and becoming brighter here. Highs at a cool 9 to 12C.
A cold start to the morning on Monday as a ridge of high pressure builds. This brings a dry and fair day for most of the UK and Ireland with some good spells of sunshine. Cloud is going to be increasing through western areas during the day, and this will be giving outbreaks of rain through Ireland which will turn heavier into the afternoon. The rain then affecting western coasts of England and Wales during the afternoon. Highs at 8 to 13C.
