Rain across southern areas, but sunny and dry to the north
Good morning, Yesterday saw a contrastof conditions between the cloudier, wetter south, and the drier, brighter north. Today looks very similar.
High pressure is going to be staying through more northern parts of the country. This has brought clear skies overnight, and has led to a touch of frost. There are some fog patches around too, but therse should be clearing. It will then be dry with good spells of sunshine across most of central and northern Britain.
To the south it is going to be cloudier once again. A front brings periods of rain across southern Ireland, the south of Wales and the far south of England. The rain could become heavy at times in these more southern parts of Wales and England.
Have a great day.
