Little Change into the Weekend

We expect lots of cloud along with rain and showers across the country this morning and little in the way of sunshine. In the afternoon. Not a whole lot of change to come with further showers merging into longer spells of rain. This could be heavy across eastern parts of England. Temperatures of 8 to 11C.

Through the evening and night. Much of Scotland looks quite wet with spells of rain. Dry across England and Wales and turning rather cold again. Lows of 1 to 5C.

If you're heading abroad, much of Europe along with the Mediterranean is looking unsettled and windy with showers and rain.
