Lots of sunshine again today, feeling warm too, but thicker cloud in northern Scotland
Good morning, High pressure is in control of the weather across the UK and Ireland once again today. It is a chilly morning, and there is a touch of frost in more central and western parts of England and Wales. A few mist patches too, but these clearing away quickly through this morning. Thicker cloud is affecting the far north of Scotland, thanks to a cold front edging in here.
This afternoon should be staying fine and warm as well as sunny for most of the country. However, a definite increase in cloud in the northern half of Scotland, although this only thick enough to produce spots of rain in the far north.
Fair through this evening and overnight and a touch of frost again in central and western areas. Some cloud again in northern and eastern Scotland, this slipping into eastern England too.
Have a great day.
