Cold across northern Europe with rain in the west

Wednesday
Cloud and some drizzle in the far west of Portugal today. For the rest of Portugal and Spain the day will be fine with plenty of sunshine. More sunshine in the western Mediterranean, although heavy showers will be affecting Italy and Greece. More heavy showers through Turkey.
Cloud and some spots of rain in northern France. Fair through the Low Countries and most of Germany, although cloud and some rain affects southern Germany. Cloud and some spots of rain through Austria and Hungary although Switzerland should be dry with sunny spells.
Showers affecting Denmark, with some cloud and spots of rain in western Norway. More cloud and rain across Sweden. The Baltic States and Finland will be breezy with cloud and periods of rain, this turning to snow.

Thursday
Cloud and rain affecting the west of Spain and Portugal on Thursday. Further rain and cloud will be in western France too, and again this rain could be heavy. For the central parts of the Mediterranean the day should be fair with sunny spells. Italy should have a fair day too with some sunny spells to come here. Fair in Greece but some heavy showers for Turkey.
Cloud and some rain affecting the Low Countries. Germany should be fair with sunny spells and the weather will be staying fair through Poland too. More sunshine to come across Switzerland, but some cloud through Austria and Hungary.
A sunny and dry day in Norway and Denmark. Wintry showers affecting the east of Sweden. The Baltic States will have some snow showers too, these becoming heavier over Finland.
