Cool in the West, Hot in the East

Expect strong gales across the Bay of Biscay with frequent, and heavy showers across Portugal and Spain. And area of rain stretch from France down through, Corsica and Sardinia and will be heavy across France. Showers as well around the Balearics today across northern parts of Italy. Central and southern parts of Italy will be dry with some sunshine and variable cloud. High pressure centered over Russia and over Scandinavia is going to keep much of eastern Europe dry. Lots of sunshine to come across Finland, Norway, Sweden, Poland and across through, Belarus, Russia, the Ukraine and down across the former Yugoslavia into Greece and Turkey some heavy showers come across the Alps with rain across Switzerland. Mostly sunny across Austria and Hungary into the Czech Republic.

Windy and wet with rain across Portugal today. A better day across Spain and France with a dry day and more sunshine. Rather cloudy today with some patchy rain across Belgium and across western parts of Germany. An area of rain is expected across Switzerland and northern Italy. A few showers to come for Rome and central and southern Italy. Lots of dry, sunny weather will be found across Greece, Turkey into Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia and Romania. Lots of sunshine as well across Hungry, Poland, eastern Germany, Belarus and Russia into the Baltic States. Cold but a dry, sunny day for Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
