Cloud and some outbreaks of rain and drizzle over southern England at first today, some low cloud and drizzle over hills and coasts. Brighter in central and northern England and Ireland with sunny spells. Heavy showers in northern and western Scotland but drier and brighter east and south. This afternoon sees cloud thickening in England and Wales with the rain and drizzle becoming more persistent in southern counties of England. Brighter in Scotland with sunny spell and a few showers over Scotland. Highs at 8 to 10C in northern and western areas, 15C in East Anglia and southeast England.


Tuesday Night
Becoming wet tonight in Ireland, England and Wales. Heavier periods of rain in eastern Ireland and western Wales. Some drizzle and low cloud over southern and western coasts and hills. Cloudier in Scotland as well, a few showers in northern Scotland. Lows at 10C in southern England, 4C in northern Scotland.
 


Wednesday
Low pressure brings fronts and an area of cloud and rain on Wednesday. Most rain will be across Wales and northern England with some in southern Scotland. Tending to turn drier and murky in southern England. A brighter day in northern and western Scotland as well as much of Ireland. Sunny spells here and it will be dry as well, the only threat of some rain in the far southeast of Ireland in the morning. Highs near 8C in northern Scotland, 10C in the Midlands, 11C in Ireland and 16C in southeast England.


Thursday
A wet day in western Scotland and western Ireland as a front brings some heavy rain and strong winds here. Patchier rain in eastern Scotland although lots of cloud here and feeling mild. Dry for England and Wales with sunny spells in central and eastern areas. More cloud arriving in the west with some drizzle over northwest England and western Wales in the afternoon. Highs at 8 to 10C in the north and west, 16C over central and eastern England.
