Some thunder Spain & Portugal
Shallow low pressure over south-western Iberia results in thunderstorms breaking out again for Portugal and south-west Spain - very warm, around 28C. A few showers also for northern Spain into the Pyrenees. A cold front advances south-eastwards across central Europe, producing a zone of heavy and possibly thundery rain affecting central-eastern France, the Alps, southern Germany and spreading into Poland and the Czech Republic. Fresher conditions and sunny spells follow across northern France and the Low Countries.
Southern Europe remains dry and very warm with lots of strong sunshine around the Mediterranean. Highs 24 to 28C inland across the Balkans and into Hungary. Local showers for Romania. Low pressure and fronts push across Scandinavia, bringing outbreaks of rain to Sweden, and showers follow for Norway. Finland should escape dry and fairly warm at 15C.
Thunderstorms will break out for southern Spain and Portugal, and locally over northern mountains too. However, much of central and eastern Spain will be dry and warm. Plenty of sunshine across the Mediterranean. Local thundery showers by afternoon along the spine of Italy and into the Balkan mountains. Rain advances east to affect Romania and Ukraine. Meanwhile Greece should stay dry and sunny.
Largely dry and pleasantly warm across central Europe, temperatures widely 20 to 25C, and up to 28C in south-west France. A fresh westerly breeze affects northern Europe, bringing outbreaks of rain to northern Germany, Denmark and perhaps the Low Countries where it will be generally cloudy. Breezy for Scandinavia, with frequent showery rain in western Norway. A little rain for Sweden and Finland, mixed with brighter spells.
