Fair through southern Europe but wind and rain to the north

Tuesday
Lots of showers are expected across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, northern Germany into Belgium, Holland and the far north of France.
Central, southern parts of France fair, dry with good sunny spells expected across southern parts of Germany into Austria, Hungary and Poland. A dry day expected across Finland with sunny spells this fine weather extends down across the Baltic region and into Russia and the Ukraine.
The weather remains settled and dry across Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey with lots of sunshine while a few scattered showers some across Greece and around the Greek Isles. More cloud to come across Portugal and Spain, into the Balearics but essentially dry today. Sunny across Corsica, Sardinia and Italy with one or two showers expected across the former Yugoslavia.



Wednesday
A cool and fair day through the British Isles on Wednesday. Good spells of sunshine extending through western France and into Spain and Portugal too. More sunshine through the central and eastern Mediterranean.
Some showers through Germany and Poland as well as Austria and Hungary. Variable amounts of cloud here with some sunny spells too. Bulgaria and Romania should both have fine days with good spells of sunshine throughout.
Unsettled through Norway and Sweden and windy here with periods of rain at times. It is likely to be windy as well with the heaviest of the rain through more northern and western areas.
