Very warm across Eastern Europe

Today
Unsettled across much of mainland Europe today. While the south of France looks dry and sunny but very windy, rain is expected across the United Kingdom, into northern parts of France with heavy showers across central France. Heavy rain to come across Switzerland and southern parts of Germany with frequent, heavy showers expected across Belgium, Holland, the rest of Germany, Poland and Austria. Heavy, thundery showers are also in the forecast for the Czech Republic, parts of northern Italy and through the western Ukraine into most of Russia and northern Finland. Southern Finland, the Baltic States should be dry and mostly sunny well across Norway and Sweden expect a mix of sunny spells and showers. Mainly dry across Denmark today. Heavy showers are in the forecast for northern parts of Spain and parts of Portugal with central and southern parts of Spain, dry, sunny and very warm, and this dry weather extends right across the Balearics, through Sardinia into southern parts of Italy, Greece and all of Turkey. Lots of sunshine as well across Bulgaria into Romania and the eastern Ukraine with just a few showers expected across the former Yugoslavia. Very warm today across eastern parts of Europe.

Dry, very warm and sunny across Portugal, Spain, the Balearics and Eastward across Corsica, Sardinia into Italy, Greece and Turkey. This fine weather extends up across Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia, Hungary and Romania. Frequent, and heavy showers with the risk of thunder are expected across most of France, United Kingdom, Belgium and through Holland with longer spells of rain across Germany. Widespread and heavy, thundery showers are also in the forecast from Belarus, through western parts of the Ukraine, Poland into the Czech Republic and Austria. Heavy showers will also effect the Alps. One or two showers to come across Denmark today with lots of showers expected across Norway and Sweden. Drier across Finland with sunny spells and just the odd shower with the Baltic States continuing to stay fine and dry. More showers are expected across Russia.
