Today
Expect a few heavy showers across Portugal and north western parts of Spain today, otherwise dry, sunny and very warm, and this warm weather will extend across the Balearics across Corsica and Sardinia into Sicily. Mostly sunny and warm across Italy except for the odd afternoon shower. Much of France looks warm and dry with sunny spells. Number of showers are forecast across England, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and western parts of Germany. Outbreaks of rain are expected across Sweden, eastern Germany, and Poland where it will be heavy. Mostly sunny and dry across Finland with just a few scattered showers today across Russia. A number of heavy showers are forecast across the Baltic States, Belarus into the Ukraine, and across the Czech Republic and Austria. Mostly dry across the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania and Greece. Heavy showers are forecast for eastern parts of Turkey with the west dry and sunny.



Saturday
An area of moderate to heavy rain is expected across England down through France, Belgium and Holland and this may reach the far western parts of Germany by the end of the afternoon. Showers are expected across northern parts of Spain today, otherwise, a dry, mostly sunny. A very warm day across Iberia, the Balearics, Sardinia and through all of Italy into Greece and Turkey. Heavy showers are expected over the Alps today. Unsettled and windy across Scandinavia with sunshine and heavy showers expected across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Plenty of heavy showers with the risk of thunder as well across most of Russia, the Baltic States into Belarus and northern parts of the Ukraine. Sunny and drier across southern parts of the Ukraine down through Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria the former Yugoslavia and Czech Republic. Some showers to come today across northern parts of Poland, otherwise dry and mostly sunny. Eastern parts of Germany and Australia will also be dry and mostly sunny.
