Dry and Sunny across Scandinavia
Today Warm with sunny spells across most of Britain today. Fine across western and southern parts of France but expect some rain in the east. Continued very warm long spells of unbroken sunshine across Portugal and Spain and across to the Balearics. Heavy spells of thundery rain are expected across southern parts of Italy today with showers in the north. Western parts of Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the former Yugoslavia and Greece will also see some heavy showers. Eastern Turkey will have some showers but the west will be dry and sunny. Heavy showers are also in the forecast for the Ukraine with a few across Romania, Bulgaria, most of eastern Germany, Poland, Belarus, the Baltic States and Russia will be fine, dry and very warm. Long sunny spells will prevail from Finland across into Sweden, Norway into Denmark. There is a risk of some heavy showers across Belgium and Holland today.
 Thursday Becoming warmer across Iberia and western parts of Europe today. Continued warm and mostly sunny across England today and this extends down across western and southern parts of France. Eastern parts of France will see some heavy showers, these heavy showers will become more numerous across Switzerland, Austria and across into the Czech Republic the former Yugoslavia, the Ukraine, Hungary, Romania and down into Greece and western parts of Turkey. The showers may also be accompanied by thunder and lightning. Mostly sunny across eastern parts of Turkey today. High pressure across north eastern parts of Europe will give all of Scandinavia, Russia, the Baltic States, Belarus, most of Poland and most of Germany a settled, dry and sunny day but rather windy in the east. It should also be dry across the Low Countries into Denmark with sunny spells.
