Today
Gale force, cyclonic winds will be found through the Bay of Biscay across England into the North Sea. Very unsettled across western Europe today with frequent heavy showers with thunder across Portugal, Spain and France with an area of heavy rain across England. Morning rain across Belgium and Holland will clear by the afternoon but staying cloudy. A lot of cloud too across Germany but essentially dry. Rather cold but dry and sunny across Norway into Sweden today with snow showers across northern Finland but dry in the south. Northern Russia will have showers or longer spells of rain. High pressure though will give much of eastern Europe another settled, dry day with sunny spells. Lots of sunshine will extend from the Ukraine through Belarus, the Baltic States into Poland and southward across the Balkans. Just the odd shower to come across Turkey today, otherwise dry and mostly sunny. For southern parts of Italy it should be mostly sunny with showers across the north and across Sardinia into Corsica. Lots of sunshine to come today across the Balearics but windy.



Monday
Those gales will continue to blow through the Bay of Biscay with frequent, and heavy showers across Portugal and Spain. And area of rain stretch from France down through, Corsica and Sardinia and will be heavy across France. Showers as well around the Balearics today across northern parts of Italy. Central and southern parts of Italy will be dry with some sunshine and variable cloud. High pressure centered over Russia and over Scandinavia is going to keep much of eastern Europe dry. Lots of sunshine to come across Finland, Norway, Sweden, Poland and across through, Belarus, Russia, the Ukraine and down across the former Yugoslavia into Greece and Turkey some heavy showers come across the Alps with rain across Switzerland. Mostly sunny across Austria and Hungary into the Czech Republic.
