Wet, cloudy and breezy over much of southern and central Europe

Sunday
A band of cloud sweeps eastwards through Spain today bringing strong winds and some outbreaks of rain. This will be showery by the time it reaches eastern Spain. Brighter with a few showers in Portugal and the northwest of Spain. An unsettled day over much of France with the risk of some heavy rain here. Brighter weather and windier conditions over western parts of France. More cloud and rain for the Low Countries. Cloud and some drizzle through Germany and Poland with drizzle at times. Cloud and outbreaks of rain through Hungary and Austria.
Cloud and some rain into the northwest of Italy, but through much of the country it will be breezy with a few spots of rain, but should be generally dry. A fair day across Greece and Turkey, but some showers in northern Turkey. Fair for Bulgaria and Romania.
Cloud and periods of rain for the Baltic States. Fair over Finland with sunny spells. A fine day over northern Norway and Sweden, but some cloud and outbreaks of drizzle and sleet in the far south.

Monday
A cloudy and damp day to come through Spain and Portugal. There will be some outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most of it to the north and west. Better weather through France, with some good spells of sunshine in the west. A fair day through the Low Countries with sunny spells. fair for Germany, but some cloud and showers or rain in the east and cloud with rain and snow through Poland, some of it heavy. It will be cloudy with more rain and snow through Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Low pressure brings an unsettled day through Italy. There will be showers or longer spells of rain, most of these across northern and western areas. A fair and warmer day through Greece and Turkey, with sunshine through Cyprus and Crete too. Bulgaria and Romania will have fine days with sunny spells, and it will be warm as well.
To the north some rain and sleet affects the western Baltic States, whilst other areas stay dry, More cloud and sleet to come through Finland, turning to snow. Brighter through Sweden with sunny spells, and it will be remaining fine for Norway as well.
