Fine through the south of Europe, but some cloud and rain to the north
Thursday High cloud leads to hazy sunshine over Spain and Portugal today. It should be dry though and will be feeling warm. Heavy showers could affect the north and west of France, with strong winds here too. More scattered showers for the south of France. The strong winds and showers for the Low Countries and Germany too. A mix of sunshine and showers for Germany and Poland, a few of them heavy in places. Most of Austria and Poland should be dry with sunny spells and it will be dry through Switzerland too. A fair day for most of Italy, the best of the sunshine in the south. More sunshine to come across Turkey, Cyprus and Crete. The sunshine extending north into Bulgaria and Romania too. For the Baltic States there will be a few showers, these more extensive and wintry at times over Finland. For Sweden the day is breezy with a mix of sunshine and showers, heavy showers affecting Denmark and Norway too.
Friday A fine day across Spain and Portugal with some good spells of sunshine. It stays fine through France as well with more sunshine here. There will be fairly brisk winds across northern parts of France. It stays breezy across the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. Hungary and Austria should be dry with sunny spells, and it should stay fair across Switzerland as well. Fair through Hungary and Austria with plenty of sunshine here. Staying fair across Switzerland. Some cloud for northern Italy, but fair through central and southern areas with sunny spells. High pressure brings fine weather for Greece and Turkey, with plenty of sunshine for Cyprus and Crete too. More sunshine for Bulgaria and Romania. To the north there are going to be heavy showers through the Baltic States with more persistent rain across Finland. Heavy showers for the south of Sweden, but fair to the north with some sunshine. Heavy, but scattered showers in Denmark, fine for Norway.
