High pressure brings sunshine to the south, but the north is cloudy and damp

Tuesday
High pressure is going to be building through the Mediterranean. This is going to bring a fine day to Spain and Portugal. Good spells of sunshine here and warm too. The sunshine extends through most of France, although it is going to be breezy in the north. There will be some cloud and risk of some drizzle on the northern coasts of the Low Countries, with more persistent rain affecting northern Germany. Poland will be having showers, some of them heavy at times. Hungary and Austria are going to have cloud and some patchy rain, whilst Switzerland should be dry with sunny spells.
A fair day to come over most of Italy, although some showers through central areas of the country. Greece and Turkey will have some showers forming, although sunny spells too. Bulgaria and Romania look mainly dry with sunny spells.
A more unsettled picture to the north. Wintry showers through the Baltic States, but fair in Finland, apart from an odd shower in the south. Showers too through Finland, a few of them heavy and windy. Norway may have scattered showers, but should be generally dry.

Wednesday
Lots of sunshine again for much of Spain today. Thicker cloud and some outbreaks of rain in Portugal and northern Spain, these spreading into northwest France too. central and southern France are dry with sunny spells. Cloud, wind and rain affect the Low Countries and northern Germany. Central Germany will be rather cloudy with some spots of rain and drizzle, these extending into Poland too. Austria and Hungary are dry with sunny spells, and the weather stays fair for Switzerland as well.
Italy is going to have a dry day with lots of sunshine throughout. Showers could affect Greece, some of them heavy, and these will be spreading to Turkey too. For Bulgaria the day should be dry with sunny spells, but some rain affecting the north of Romania.
The Baltic States has increasing cloud and some outbreaks of sleet and snow in the afternoon. It should be fair through the Baltic States with sunny spells. Cloud and rain spread east into Sweden, the winds increasing as well. Heavier rain and blustery winds through Denmark, with more rain and showers to come in Norway.
