Heavy rain at times and windy

Today
Heavy rain clears England and will spread in across Norway, Sweden, Finland, parts of Belgium, the far north of France and northern Spain. A dry, bright day to come for Denmark. Fair and dry as well for much of France, Germany, Holland and Poland with sunny spells. Some rain to come across western Russia but dry across the Baltic States, Belarus and the Ukraine. Much of Iberia into the Balearics, Italy and into the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey will remain under high pressure. Some mist clears otherwise dry here and mostly sunny. Lots of sunshine on offer today for Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary as well.

More heavy rain and gales will affect the United Kingdom today and this area of rain spreads in across western France, Portugal and later western Spain. Dry across eastern Spain with sunny spells. Quite a lot of cloud across France, Belgium and Holland but a dry day to come. Largely a dry day across Norway and Sweden with sunny spells. Heavy rain is forecast Finland with snow in the north. Rain too for western Russia. Rain clears the Baltic States in the morning but lingers across Belarus. A dry day with some sunshine for Poland, Germany, The Alpine Region into Hungary and Romania. With high pressure in control. Dry with sunny spells will prevail from the Balearics across Corsica, Sardinia into Italy, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria and the former Yugoslavia.
