A fair day in the central and eastern Mediterranean, but rain and strong winds to the north

Saturday
A line of cloud and outbreaks of showery rain through southern Portugal and Spain. Drier to the north with sunny spells. Heavy showers across western and northern France, some of them heavy at times. More rain, followed by strong winds and heavy showers across the Low Countries. Rain moving into Germany too, and again this could be heavy at times. The rain reaches Portugal in the afternoon. Sunny spells and a few showers breaking out over Austria and Hungary, with cloud and some rain reaching the west of Switzerland later.
High pressure will be centred over the south of Italy bringing some good sunny spells throughout. The high pressure persists through Greece and Turkey with more sunshine to come here. A few showers over Cyprus, some of them heavy. For Bulgaria and Romania the day is going to be dry with sunny spells, although morning mist and fog patches are likely, and these will be slow to clear.
Dry and sunny conditions through the Baltic States and Finland. There will be morning fog patches, but these clearing away quuickly. Cloud and outbreaks of rain through Sweden and Norway, the rain heavy in Norway and strong winds here too. More cloud and rain over Denmark, and again this could be heavy.

Sunday
Cloud and rain across northwestern parts of Spain and Portugal with strong winds here. Drier to the south and east of Iberia with sunny spells here. More cloud and rain over the west of France, but more eastern areas whilst cloudy will be dry. Dry too across the Low Countries with sunny spells. More dry weather affecting Germany and Poland with sunny spells. A few mist or fog patches for Austria and Hungary, these clearing slowly to sunny spells. More sunny spells over Switzerland too.
High pressure will be bringing dry weather and sunny spells to much of Italy. The sunshie continues over Greece and Turkey and it should be warm here as well. A fair day to come across Bulgaria with some morning fog patches, but these should clear to sunny spells. Cloudier and dull through Romania, some drizzle here.
To the north there will be cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle through the Baltic States, and staying dull and damp as well as foggy through much of Finland. Dry and bright for Norway with sunny spells. A few showers through Denmark and Norway with sunny spells here.
