Fine across much of the Mediterranean
Today A mainly fine, dry day to come across much of the United Kingdom today. Dry with lots of sunshine as well across France. More cloudy and breezy for Belgium, Holland, Denmark and Germany with lots of showers. A cold, windy day across Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Poland and Russia with gales. Snow showers are expected across parts of Norway with heavy, blustery showers for Sweden, Finland, Poland, the Baltic Sates, Belarus while heavy rain affect Russia. Rain will affect the far north west of Spain otherwise a dry, mostly sunny and warm day across Iberia and across into the Balearics, Italy, Greece and Turkey. Quite warm across Turkey today. High pressure will also keep it settled and dry across the former Yugoslavia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania.
Monday A belt of rain is expected across northern France across southern Germany and the Alpine Region. Dry and sunnier for southern France and northern Germany. Largely a fine, dry day again across England and dry too for the Low Counties, Holland, Denmark and much of Poland with sunny spells. Scattered snow showers will affect western Norway but much of Norway and Sweden will be dry and sunny after an early frost. Windier and wet across Finland, The Baltic States and Russia with heavy rain. Lots of dry weather will prevail across Belarus, the Ukraine south into Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Rain is forecast for Portugal today while much of Spain is dry and a sunny and this fine weather is to extend across the Balearics into Italy as well.
