Today A dry day to come across England, Belgium and Holland with sunny spells. Fine and dry as well France with lots of sunshine. A dry day to come across Germany as well with more cloud in the north and sunnier in the south. Some heavy showers will again affect Switzerland and Austria. Some light rain to come across northern parts of Poland which will be heavier across The Baltic States and Belarus. More rain to come across the west of Norway while the east along with Sweden and Finland are fine and dry. Dry and mostly sunny as well across Russia while showers are forecast for the Ukraine and parts of Romania. Dry and sunny weather is expected across Spain into the Balearics and Italy while heavy thundery showers persist across Sicily towards the Greek Isles. Fine and mostly sunny across Greece, Turkey, the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Hungary.
Saturday With a large scale area of high pressure dominating much of Europe most places will be settled and dry. Lots of sunshine will prevail across the United Kingdom across into the Low Counties, Holland, Germany and much of France. Just a few heavy showers will affect the French Alps and also Switzerland. Some heavy thundery showers may threaten the far south of Portugal and Spain but for much of Iberia it will be sunny, warm and dry. Fine as well across the Balearics while some heavy showers affect Italy. Lots of dry weather with plenty of sunshine will be found across the former Yugoslavia, Greece, Turkey, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. This dry weather also is to prevail northward into Poland, Belarus, into Russia, Finland, the Baltic States into Sweden. Spells of rain will persist across the west of Norway.
