Fine and settled across mainland Europe
Today Fair and dry today across the United Kingdom. A lot of fine, settled weather is expected across much of mainland Europe as high pressure dominates. Lots of sunshine to come across France, The Low Counties and Holland. Fine and sunny across central and southern parts of Germany but expect more cloud and some rain in the north and across northern Poland, Denmark, southern Sweden and the Baltic States. Fine, dry and mostly sunny across southern Poland, Belarus, The Ukraine into Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Sunny and very warm across Iberia today while heavy, thundery showers will affect the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Mainly dry across Italy with sunny spells. For Greece, Turkey and Romania it will be a warm, sunny day.
Thursday Lots of dry weather with sunny spells will prevail across England, Belgium and France. A few light showers are expected across Holland with a fair, dry day for Denmark, Germany and much of Poland. Scattered showers will develop across the Alpine Region today. More rain to come today for Norway and the Baltic States. Mainly dry across Sweden and Finland with showers across Russia and some light rain for Denmark. Sunny and very warm across Portugal and Spain we numerous heavy showers with thunderstorms will affect the Balearics into Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily. Dry weather with sunny spells will prevail across Italy, the former Yugoslavia, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania. Quite warm here as well.
