Driest in eastern Europe
Today Today a scattering of showers will develop across England and France. There will be some good, dry sunny spells as well. Fine, dry and sunny across The Low Countries, Holland and Denmark. Just a few showers will pop up across western Germany with the east sunny and dry. Some heavy showers will affect the Alpine Region. High pressure will give Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, The Baltic States and Belarus a dry, sunny and warm day. A few showers will affect the far north of Spain. Much of Iberia into the Balearics will have a dry, sunny day. A number of heavy showers will develop across Italy, the former Yugoslavia into Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria today with a risk of heavy thunderstorms. Sunny and dry though for Romania and the Ukraine.
Sunday Just a few isolated showers and sunny spells to come today across the United Kingdom. Much more in the way of showers today across France and western and central parts of Germany, Belgium and Holland. Across France these will be heavy with eastern Germany sunny and dry. A hot, sunny day today across Poland. Fine and sunny as well across Denmark, Belarus, The Baltic States, Russia and the Ukraine. Just a few showers today across eastern Spain and around the Balearics. The rest of Iberia looks fine and sunny. Heavy showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Italy. Apart from numerous, heavy showers across Turkey, much of the Balkans will enjoy a mostly sunny and dry day. High pressure will also keep it dry with sunny spells for Norway, Sweden and Finland.
