heavy rain in western Europe but better to the east

Cloud and rain affecting the west of Spain and Portugal on Thursday. Further rain and cloud will be in western France too, and again this rain could be heavy. For the central parts of the Mediterranean the day should be fair with sunny spells. Italy should have a fair day too with some sunny spells to come here. Fair in Greece but some heavy showers for Turkey.
Cloud and some rain affecting the Low Countries. Germany should be fair with sunny spells and the weather will be staying fair through Poland too. More sunshine to come across Switzerland, but some cloud through Austria and Hungary.
A sunny and dry day in Norway and Denmark. Wintry showers affecting the east of Sweden. The Baltic States will have some snow showers too, these becoming heavier over Finland.

Cloud through central, southern and eastern parts of Spain on Friday with some outbreaks of rain inland. The north and west should be drier with some sunny spells here. More sunshine for Portugal, with a few showers in the west of France. Wet through the Low Countries and into Germany. Poland should be fair with good spells of sunshine. Sunny spells in Austria and Hungary too.
Heavy showers across Italy, with some moving into the west of Greece. The rest of Greece should be fair with sunny spells. Sunshine and dry for most of Turkey although rain will affect Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north Denmark should be dry with sunny spells, and Norway should be dry and breezy too. More sunshine across Sweden and the Baltic States, although showers in Finland.
