Fine to the south of Europe, but cloud and heavy showers or rain in the north
A few thunderstorms forming over central parts of Spain today. Portugal and the rest of Spain should be fine with plenty of sunshine. Italy looks set to have a fair day too with some sunshine here, and Greece as well as Turkey are looking fine and sunny.
Cloud and rain affecting northern and western France, with the south seeing a few showers. More cloud and rain through the Low Countries and into Germany, although southern Germany should stay fair. Plenty of sunshine and dry weather to come across Germany and Poland.
Some showers for southern Sweden, but cloud and rain affecting Norway and northern Sweden as well as much of Finland. Denmark should be dry with some sunny spells here.
An area of high pressure extends through the Mediterranean through Thursday bringing plenty of fine weather across Spain and Portugal. This sunshine also affects the Balearics and Italy, together with Greece and Turkey.
France should have sunny and dry weather overall, although there will be some cloud in the northwest. Mainly fair in the Low Countries, although rather showery over the northern half of Germany, whilst the south is dry. Heavy showers too in Poland. More showers to come through Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
To the north there will be showers through Denmark whilst more persistent rain affects Norway, some of it heavy at times. Heavy showers too for the Baltic States, but mostly fair in Switzerland with sunny intervals here.
