Rain through northern parts of Europe, but still lots of warm sunshine to the south

Thursday
Cloud and some rain affecting northern Spain today. Showers may affect inland parts of Portugal, but the east and south of Spain should be fine with plenty of sunshine. Heavy periods of rain affecting western and northern France. Some rain through the Low Countries and northern Germany too. Poland will have a few showers and these may be heavy. Thunderstorms breaking out over Hungary but fine through Austria and Hungary.
A fine and hot day in Italy, although some heavy showers forming inland. Lots of sunshine and very warm conditions in Greece, with most of Turkey fine too. Increasing wind in the north. Bulgaria and Austria should be fine with lots of sunshine.
A few showers in Finland and the Baltic States. Cloud and some rain in Denmark. Fair across Sweden with lots of sunshine here, although showers affect Norway.



Friday
More hot sunshine across Spain and Portugal today. Staying sunny across most of the Mediterranean with plenty of sunshine to come across central parts of Italy. It should be remaining dry, sunny and hot in Turkey as well as Bulgaria and Romania.
Heavy showers across northern and western France, these being thundery at times. More heavy showers over the Low Countries with further heavy and thundery showers in Germany. Fair through Poland, although cloudier in the west later. Switzerland, Hungary and Austria will be drier with sunny spells.
High pressure over Finland will be bringing a fine day here with lots of sunshine. It should be staying fine across the Baltic States too. More sunshine in northern Norway, but cloud and rain to the south. Cloud and rain affecting Denmark and southern parts of Norway too.
