Unseasonably Hot across Spain

Today
Mainly dry across England today with sunny spells. Lots of sunshine will prevail across France, Belgium and Holland, into western parts of Germany. Very windy across the south of France into the central Mediterranean with a strong mistral developing. Some heavy showers are forecast for Denmark, eastern Germany, across the Alps and across much of Poland and some of these will be heavy with the risk of thunder. This heavy showers activity will also extend up across the Baltic States and into Russia across, Belarus. Cold and windy across Scandinavia with some snow showers across western parts of Norway, otherwise mainly dry with sunny spells across eastern Norway, Sweden and Finland. An area of rain will stretch from western parts of theUkraine through Romania, the former Yugoslavia into northern parts of Italy, some heavy showers are likely to develop across Greece, Bulgaria, and Turkey. Southern parts of Italy through, Corsica, Sardinia through the Balearics across Spain and Portugal will be dry, sunny very warm to hot across central and southern Spain. A strong mistral wind will be blowing across southern France.

A windy day across the United Kingdom as rain spreads in. High pressure will dominate much of Europe today keeping it settled. Lots a fine, dry and sunny weather will prevail from France across the Low Countries, into Germany and Poland. Lots of sunshine as well across much of Russia, Finland, the Baltic States and Belarus. More cloudy across the Ukraine today with some patchy light rain. This also extends down across Romania and Bulgaria. Outbreaks of rain will be heavier across the former Yugoslavia and across central and southern parts of Italy. Northern Italy will be dry after early rain clears. Expect sunny spells across the Czech Republic and Austria. Fair and dry across much of Turkey and Greece with a few showers the vicinity of Crete. Another hot, dry and sunny day to come across Portugal and Spain with lots of sunshine through the Balearics. Quite windy today through the central part of the Mediterranean. Outbreaks of rain will affect Sweden and Norway today as it becomes windy with the risk of snow showers across northern Norway.
