A cool easter with showers or rain for many

An unsettled day across much of southern Europe. Low pressure will be over northern Italy and this will be bringing a band of showery rain south through central parts of Spain and Portugal. Showers affecting the southern coasts of Spain.
Cloudy and wet for southern France and northern Italy, with some showers affecting central and western parts of Italy. Fairer across Greece and Turkey where it should be dry with some spells of sunshine to come through the day.
Low pressure also brings plenty of cloud and rain into the Baltic States. Finland should be dry though with some sunny spells here. A few wintry showers for Sweden, with sunny spells and mainly dry conditions in Norway. Showers and cold air affect central and northern France, as well as the Low Countries and Germany.

Low pressure is the dominating feature of the weather across much of Europe today. This will be bringing cloud and some strong winds through southern France and much of Italy. Further rain affecting the north of Greece, Bulgaria and Romania, but most of Turkey, Cyprus and Crete should be dry.
Through the Balearics and Spain conditions should be brighter for most with sunny spells, although some showers will affect western Portugal and the north of Spain. France will have some cloud and drizzle in the north of the country, but the west should fair better,
A ridge of high pressure brings sunshine to Germany and Poland as well as the Low Countries. The ridge will be felt in Denmark and Sweden too where there will be dry conditions and sunny spells. Some cloud may affect western Norway later.
