Unsettled weather continues with rain in central and northern Europe

Monday
A cooler day with sunny spells and a few showers in northern Spain and western Portugal. The rest of Iberia should be dry with lots of sunshine. Staying fine through the Balearics and most of Italy, although there will be some showers in northern Italy. Plenty of hot sunshine in Greece and Turkey but just a few showers forming inland.
Rain, showers and strong winds will be extending through much of France and the Low Countries. This rain also troubles the west and south of Germany, together with Austria and Hungary. Heavy showers affect Switzerland.
Cooler weather in the Baltic States with some showers here. Sunny spells and dry weather in Finland. Heavy showers affecting Sweden and Norway. Some sunny spells to come across Denmark.



Tuesday
Sunny spells and mainly dry weather through Portugal and Spain today, although there will be some showers affecting northern hills. A more unsettled and cool day across France with rain and showers pushing south through the country. Cloud and some rain across the Low Countries, Germany and Poland.
Further cloud and some rain for the northern and central parts of Italy, but the south should be dry. A fine day across Greece and Turkey with plenty of sunshine throughout.
Low pressure brings further showers to the Baltic States and Finland. The showers are going to be heavy at times. Showers too in Sweden and Norway, some merging to longer spells of rain. More showers to come through Denmark.
