Little rainfall for eastern England
An area of low pressure to the west of Ireland will give showers to northern and eastern areas with few expected in the east where much of the week is looking mainly dry. Initially it will be quite hot but temperatures come down as we go through the week.

Tuesday 21/08/12 Scattered showers are expected across northern Scotland, northern England, Northern Ireland and Wales, some heavy. Mainly fair and dry and warm for the rest of the country with sunnier spells. Expect highs of 18 to 25C.
Wednesday 22/08/12 Not as warm today. Showers are forecast across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. The rest of England looks dry and mostly sunny. A dry night to come across Britain. Expect maximum temperatures of 17 to 22C.
Thursday 23/08/12 Warmer across the country today. Expect a day of sunny spells and showers across northern and western areas with eastern and southern areas dry and mostly sunny. Maximum temperatures of 20 to 26C.
Friday 24/08/12 Rain is expected across Northern Ireland today with scattered showers across Scotland and Wales. The rest of the country remains dry with sunny spells. Rain spreads into all but East Anglia and the south east tonight. Not as warm today with top temperatures of 16 to 22C.
Saturday 25/08/12 A wet, breezy day to come for most areas with spells of rain, heavy in the north and west. Expect top temperatures of 16 to 20C.
Sunday 26/08/12 Models suggest it remains unsettled with showers and longer spells of rain to come for much of the country. Expect high temperatures of 16 to 20C.
