It stays unsettled throughout the coming week. Low pressure is going to be close by, probably to the north of the country. Bands of rain and showers will be sweeping eastwards and it is probably going to be remaining cold as well.

Sunday 08/11/09 Low pressure is centred over the country today. That is going to be bringing unsettled conditions and it will be cold too. There will be showers and some of these will be heavy and prolonged. Highs near 5 to 9C.
Monday 09/11/09 A change in pressure regime today. Low pressure is slipping away to the east, with low pressure further west too, but a weak ridge building in between over the British Isles. Tuesday 10/11/09 Low pressure probably moves to the northwest of Scotland today. A front will be spreading eastwards bringing heavy periods of rain with it and stronger winds too. Following will be a mix of sunshine and showers,a although along southern counties of England the rain could persist for much of the day. Highs of 7C in northwest Scotland, 13C in southern England.
Wednesday 11/11/09 Rain clears the south, with low pressure stays north of Scotland. There will be showers in the north, although these tending to fade away with most of the country becoming drier with sunny spells. Highs near 9 to 13C.
Thursday 12/11/09 More rain edging into the west of the country through today and this may become heavy at times. To the east it may start dry but rain or showers are likely here too. Tops of 8 to 12C.
