A frostless week
Overall it's looking quite mild for this time of year with south westerly winds to prevail but also often wet and windy. Some decent, dry days to come as well. Later a deep area of low pressure is expected to bring gales and heavy rain to much of the United Kingdom.

Friday 30/10/09 Across The Midlands, East Anglia and southern England it's a dry, bright day with hazy sunshine. The rest of Britain looks overcast, wet and windy with spells of moderate to heavy rain. Gales will affect the west. Tonight the rain moves into Wales, the Midlands and south west England. Highs of 13 to 19C.
Saturday 31/10/09 Patchy light rain across central and southern England will turn heavier in the afternoon. Mainly dry for northern England and southern Scotland with rain in the north and across Northern Ireland. Highs of 14 to 17C.
Sunday 01/11/09 Today high pressure should give all parts of the country a fine, dry day with good sunny spells. Overnight there is a risk of rain in the south west with the rest of Britain dry. Highs of 13 to 17C.
Monday 02/11/09 Becoming very windy with gales in the west. Heavy rain across central and western parts of Britain will sweep east into all areas in the afternoon. Expect highs of 10 to 14C.
Tuesday 03/11/09 It looks cloudy and damp across most places this morning then the rain sweeps away form all areas in the afternoon. A few heavy showers will follow into the west and it will be very windy in all areas today. Highs of 10 to 15C.
