Rain and Showers
High pressure recedes as an area of low pressure becomes semi-stationary to the west of Britain. From Sunday the weather looks decidedly unsettled with rain and showers then into the rest of the week.

Most parts of the country will have a day of showers, cloud and occasional sunny spells. Some of showers are likely to be heavy with a risk of thunder. Most of the shower activity is expected to fade by mid evening with rain into the south west late in the night. Expect highs of 17 to 22C.
Outbreaks of rain are across southwest England spread into Wales, Northern Ireland and most of England during the morning. This pushes into Scotland in the afternoon. The rain clears this evening the dry in the night. Expect maximum temperatures of 16 to 23C.
Eastern parts of England and Scotland look dry today while morning showers in the west give way to afternoon rain. That rain moves north and east in the evening clearing all but northern Scotland tonight. Maximum temperatures of 18 to 22C.
Very showery across the United Kingdom today and many will be heavy, interspersed with sunnier spells. A dry night for most areas. Expect top temperatures of 16 to 21C.
A belt of rain moves into Northern Ireland and western Scotland in the afternoon. The rest of the United Kingdom will be fair and dry with sunny spells. Expect top temperatures of 17 to 22C.
Models suggest a wet day across the country with outbreaks of rain for most areas. Expect high temperatures of 19 to 24C.
