The pressure pattern over the coming week shows low pressure to the south of the country and high pressure to the north. This results in a northeasterly airflow and periods of rain at times, mostly over England and eastern Wales. With the pressure being high to the north Scotland and Wales as well as Ireland will have drier weather, although even here there will be rain at times. Temperatures will be on the cool side at first due to the northeast wind, but then becoming milder in the south later.
