Sunday 21/4/24
High pressure continues over much of the UK as sunny spells are expected for many areas through the day away from northern Scotland, where a little rain is possible through the day here. A little less breezy across eastern coasts as low cloud is possible during the morning, giving way to sunny spells later. Mostly dry in the south and west. Highs of 10 to 15C once again with the highest temperatures in the south.

Monday 22/3/24
A largely similar day to Sunday, as the centre of the high shifts close to Northern Ireland, allowing more cloud across eastern and northeastern areas, suppressing temperatures a little. A few spots of rain possible through the day although not amounting to much. Elsewhere a largely fine day and feeling pleasantly warm in the sunshine. Highs of 11C in northeast Scotland, 14 in central and southern parts.

Tuesday 23/4/24
High pressure continues to the northwest of Ireland on Tuesday, leading to some light rain or drizzle on the North Sea coasts once more, with a few brighter spells possible in eastern and northeastern parts during the afternoon. Elsewhere largely dry and fine, with sunny spells throughout the day. Temperatures of 11C in the northeast, 15C in the west.

Wednesday 24/4/24
High pressure retreats a little further west in the atlantic on Wednesday, continuing a north to northeasterly feed. This will result in a cloudy start across much of northern and eastern Scotland, with some light rain or drizzle here. A little more cloud across northern England and Wales possible too, although staying largely fine in southern areas. Sunny spells likely for most in the afternoon. Highs of 11 to 15C once east to west.

Thursday 25/4/24
Low pressure builds across the far north of Scotland with some more persistent rain possible here through the day. Elsewhere sunny spells breaking out during the afternoon with a seasonal feel. Highs of 10 to 14C.

Friday 26/4/24
Low pressure remains close to the far north through Friday with rain continuing. Much of the UK staying dry, and temperatures staying around average, 11 to 15C.
