Low pressure moves north with rain possibly developing more widely over the England and Wales. Expect some heavy outbreaks especially in the morning in south. Over Ireland and much of Scotland drier and brighter with occasional showers. Rain will start clearing from the south in the afternoon, with a few showers following. Windy in places with gales in exposure and over high ground. Temperatures rising to 9-11C in the afternoon.

Monday 29/04/2024
A mostly dry bright start but soon showers will develop, a few on the heavy side in the afternoon, but clearing in the evening. Further west over Ireland expect thick cloud and some heavy rain to spreads over in the afternoon. A breezy day for most, maximum temperatures at 10C in north but locally 15C in south.


 

Tuesday 30/04/2024
Some early rain over Ireland clearing later in the morning. A southeasterly wind will develop over the British Isles possibly bringing some showers, a few on the heavy side. Best of the drier and brighter conditions over Northwest Scotland and northern parts of Ireland with long sunny periods. Breezy with temperatures rising to around 12C in north, but 15C in south.

Wednesday 01/05/2024
A mostly dry and bright start to the day with sunny spells mostly over the northwest. Through the afternoon expect showers to develop over southern England, a few on the heavy side over. Elsewhere mostly dry. Mostly light winds with the temperature rising to around 10-12C in north but up to 17C in south.


 

Thursday 02/05/2024
Another dry and bright start to the day with sunny spells but a band of rain will possibly arrive over England, spreading over Ireland later in the evening. Tops of 12-14C for most areas.



 
 
 

Friday 03/05/2024
Any remaining rain will soon clear in the morning with a mostly dry and bright day following for all. Maximum temperatures at 12C in north, and 15C in south.
