Overall low pressure will dominate all parts of the United Kingdom for much of this upcoming week bringing rain and plenty of showers to most areas. Temperatures will be near normal but it will feel chilly in the wind and showers. By the very end of the forecast period, it looks as though high pressure will build in across England and Wales.

Continued rather windy today with rain and showers across England and Wales. Sunnier across Northern Ireland and northern Scotland with a few showers across eastern Scotland. Little change is expected in the night. Expect highs of 12 to 17 C.
Unsettled across England and Wales with a good deal of cloud, a few bright spells a risk of heavy showers. Today the best weather looks to be across southern Scotland and Northern Ireland where it may be dry and mostly sunny. Expect maximum temperatures of 13 to 17C.
Lots of dry weather across the country this morning, showers are expected to develop across much of Britain in the afternoon with a few heavy ones. We may see an area of more persistent rain spread in across England during the night though confidence is low on this. Expect high temperatures of 13 to 19C.
It looks to be a rather wet day across much of England and Wales, with the risk of some heavy rain across central and eastern parts of England. Apart from the odd shower, it looks fair and dry across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Again confidence is not too high in the forecast. Top temperatures of 12 to 15C.
For Wales, southwest and northwest England along with Scotland and Northern Ireland, it should be fair and dry with some sunshine. The rest of England looks cloudy with outbreaks of rain that will be turning quite light and patchy. Expect top temperatures of 11 to 15C.
With high pressure across the country, it looks as though it will remain settled and dry with morning mist clearing to sunny spells, although a belt of rain moves into northern Scotland and Northern Ireland. Expect high temperatures of 12 to 16C.
