Drier south later

Saturday
An area of rain over southern Scotland and the far north of England, this heavy in places, especially northwest England. Some rain on northern coasts of Northern Ireland at first, but this should fade. Further rain for northeast Scotland, but fair in central areas. Some showers ion western Wales, but for the rest of Wales and England as well as southern ireland the morning shuld be dry and bright with good spells of sunshine. A few showers breaking out across England in the afternoon as cloud thickens and rain arrives in southern Ireland, Wales and southwest England by evening. Highs at 13 to 19C.


Saturday Night
An area of cloud and rain sweeping through Ireland, Wales and England overnight. The rain is going to be heavy at times, especially in southern England and south Wales where the winds will be reaching gale force on coasts. Rain in northern England should clear eastwards by morning. Outbreaks of rain across Scotland and Ireland, these heavy in eastern Scotland. Drier weather to the west. Lows near 6 to 12C.


Sunday
Low pressure is going to be in the North Sea on Sunday. Fronts will bring rain to eastern and southern parts of England, the rain heavy at times. Rain should slowly clear eastwards as drier weather in the west moves in. More western partsof the country will become brighter with sunny spells. There is a threat of showers affecting western and northern coasts. Highs at 12 to 18C.


Monday
A northwest flow through the whole of the UK and Ireland through Monday. There will be plenty of sunshine through most areas, although a few showers could affect more eastern parts of England and Scotland. Low pressure just west of Ireland will push fronts east bringing some cloud and rain into southern Ireland. Little change is expected through the afternoon with further spells of sunshine for most. Highs at 14 to 19C.
