Wednesday A cloudy morning across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England with some patchy light rain well. A number of showers will affect western parts of Wales and southwest England. Dry across central and southern parts of England with sunny spells. In the afternoon most parts of the country will have sunny spells and showers, some of these could be locally heavy with the risk of thunder across central and southern parts of England and Wales. High temperatures of 16 to 22 Celsius.
Wednesday Night This evening a number of heavy showers will continue across England and Wales with rain across eastern parts of Scotland during the course of the night, we may see a heavier spell of rain running down along the North Sea coasts of England through about the Humber. Elsewhere it will be mainly dry but cloudy. Minimum temperatures down to 8 to 11 Celsius.
Thursday Expect a good deal of cloud across the country on Thursday morning with showers and some rain along the North Sea coasts, although southwest England may be dry. In the afternoon Northern Ireland, western Wales and southwest England could escape with a dry day, but for most places. Expect a number of showers, again some of these are likely to be heavy across south eastern parts of England. The showers will tend to die away this evening leading to a mainly dry night Expect top temperatures today of 14 to 21 Celsius.
Friday A bit cooler across the country today. Most areas will be dry this morning, apart from a shower in the south west. Scattered showers, though tend to develop again across much of England and Wales, though these may be less frequent and more scattered. It stays dry across Northern Ireland and Scotland today with sunny spells. Most parts of the country will in the day dry, and it stays dry overnight with clear spells. High temperatures today of 13 to 18 Celsius.
