Monday
Windy across the country with gales across Scotland moderating. An area of rain from East Anglia, The Midlands into South Wales and south west England in the morning moves south east into southern England clearing late in the afternoon but lingers across Kent. Very showery across the rest of the United Kingdom with many heavy, interspersed with brief sunnier spells. Expect top temperatures today of 11 to 14 Celsius.


Monday Night
Rain across Kent clears this evening with showers in the west and across Scotland. Mostly cloudy overnight some rain across northern and central parts of England and Scotland with some snow over The Highlands. Expect minimum temperatures tonight of 2 to 5 Celsius.


Tuesday
Rain is likely across eastern parts of England through the day but should turn dry and brighter late in the afternoon. For the rest of the country it's another day of sunny spells and showers, these wintry over the Highlands of Scotland. Feeling cold today with a brisk north west wind. By evening it turns dry everywhere and it becomes cold and clear tonight with a risk of widespread frost. Expect top temperatures today of just 8 to 10 Celsius which is well below normal.


Wednesday
After a cold, dry and sunny start to the day, cloud and showers develop across much of the country. In the afternoon most of these die away from western parts of England, Scotland and Wales with sunny skies. Tonight rain spreads in across Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Cold and dry across England and Wales with a widespread and sharp frost possible. High temperatures today of 9 to 12 Celsius.
