Saturday A cloudy and damp start to the morning through East Anglia and southeast England. Outbreaks of rain should slowly fade away, although staying cloudy here until late in the morning. To the west drier weather is going to be following in. The cloud is going to be breaking with some sunny spells breaking through. Little change for the afternoon with much of England and Wales being dry. For Scotland there will be some showers in the north and west of Scotland, northwest England and Wales as well as Ireland. Breezy in Scotland, highs around 14C in northern Scotland, 18C in southern England.
Saturday Night A dry evening for much of England, Wales and eastern Scotland, although there will be a few showers over western coasts. By the morning an area of heavy rain will spread northwards through Ireland and into southwest England, Wales and northwest England. The winds will be increasing in the southwest too, with the speeds to severe gale force. Low near 7 to 12C.
Sunday A very windy and wet morning over the country. An area of heavy rain sweeps north and eastwards, with the winds gusting to 60mph over Wales and the southern half of England. This rain clears eastwards, with blustery showers then following from the west. It will be turning much colder into the afternoon as well an staying extremely windy. Rain may linger in eastern Scotland until evening, and it could be heavy here. The highest risk of showers for western coasts. Highs at 10 to 16C.
Monday An unsettled day ahead. Low pressure is going to be in control of the weather, being centred across northern Scotland. Bands of rain will be sweeping eastwards and will then be followed by showers. The showers could be heavy at times and may merge to longer spells of rain as well. It is going to be a cold day with gales in the west and highs of 8 to 10C.
