A fair day acrss eastern arts of England where there will be good spells of sunshine throughout. Some showers will be affecting Wales and southwest England, and these showers are likely to become heavy agt times into the afternoon. The shwders will spread to northwest England too. Thicker cloud arriving in northern Scotland bringing some rain here in the afternoon. Rain could also affect western and southern Ireland. Highs at 25C in northeast England, more general 20 to 24C.
There could be some heavy showers across eastern parts of Ebngland tonight, these fading after midnight. Some cloud and rain in the far north of Scotland. Central Scotland could have some cloud and spots of rain too. For most of the country though it should be dry with clear spells throughout. Lows at 7 to 10C.
Whilst pressure is high through Tuesday the indications are that a trough over central areas and a front over the north and east will bring about a cloudier day. There will be some outbreaks of light rain and drizzle associated with the front and this will be affecting Scotland and eastern parts of England. Some spots of rain at any time in the morning for central and southern England, these continue into the afternoon with an odd heavier one too. Some showers in Wales and Ireland, but the far south of England and southern Ireland stay dry. Highs at a cooler 17 to 22C.
A slack pressure flow through the country on Wednesday with a shallow area of low pressure over southern Scotland. There will be cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting Scotland, most of this in the west. A few bright spells in northern and eastern England. Heavy showers, associated with a trough, will affect Ireland, Wales, the western Midlands and southwest England, these turning thundery at times. Highs at 11C in eastern Scotland, 22C in southern England.
