Very Warm and Dry For Many Areas

A milder start to Monday than compared with previous mornings and the day ahead will be dry as high pressure dominates the weather. Despite some variable cloud developing across inland areas during the day a lot of cloud-free skies is expected with prolonged spells of sunshine through the afternoong. Very warm. Highs 18C to 25C.

Many areas dry into Monday evening with clear spells and then all areas remaining dry overnight with clear spells and variable cloud too. A mild night for most, especially in towns and cities but not too warm. Lows 8C to 14C.


High pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Tuesday. This will be bringing another fine day with lots of warm sunshine. Coastal areas may be prone to some mist and fog patches. and cooler sea-breezes too. The potential for a very warm or hot day with temperatures widely 21C to 28C. Cooler around coastal areas.

High-pressure is going to be affecting all parts of the country again on Wednesday. This brings another fine and sunny day to most although they could be more cloud in northwest Scotland. Temperatures very warm or hot, widely 22C to 28C. Cooler around the coasts due to sea breezes.
