Sunday For much of the United Kingdom it will be a drier, sunnier more settled and less windy day. Lots of sunshine to come across the country this morning and into the afternoon. Most places will be dry but a few widely scattered, light showers may pop up across northern England, the North Midlands and Scotland. Expect top temperatures of 16 to 20 Celsius.
Sunday Night Any showers soon die out with a dry evening across much of Britain. It clouds over during the night in the west as outbreaks of rain spread in across Northern Ireland and Cornwall before morning. Dry for the rest of the county tonight. Expect minimum temperatures of 10 to 12 Celsius.
Monday Outbreaks of rain in the west spread east into most parts of the country this morning and this leads to a cloudy and wet afternoon for most parts of the country. The rain looks heaviest across western Scotland, Wales and western England with little rain across East Anglia and the south east. A windy day with gales in the west. Rain persists across England and Wales tonight but dry across Scotland. Still very windy tonight. Expect high temperatures today of 16 to 20 Celsius.
Tuesday Scattered showers are expected across the western half of the country today. Central and eastern parts look mainly dry with sunny spells. A few showers may affect northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland this evening and tonight with the south dry. Expect temperatures today of 16 to 23 Celsius.
