Saturday For Northern Ireland, Wales and western parts of England and Scotland we expect quite a few showers, many locally heavy with a risk of thunder and hail. In the afternoon these showers will merge into heavy rain across Wales and Northern Ireland. The rest of England and Scotland should essentially be dry with sunny spells but in the afternoon a few showers may stray into the Midlands. Another chilly day but with less wind it won't feel too bad in the sunshine. Expect highs of 8 to 11C.
Saturday Night Spells of heavy rain across Wales and south west England as far east as Hampshire this evening will clear overnight. A few showers will persist near western coasts but for the rest of Britain it's a dry evening and night with clear spells. This will allow temperatures to drop low enough for a frost across northern and central areas. Expect lows down to 0 to 2C in the north, 3 to 8C in the south.
Sunday Some light rain will affect northern Scotland but should soon die away. A few showers will again be found near some western coasts of Wales and England. In the afternoon a northeast wind may bring one or showers to North Sea coasts but for much of Britain, it's a dry afternoon with sunny spells and patchy cloud. A few showers will remain near around eastern coasts of England and Scotland otherwise it's a dry evening and night with clear spells leading to a more widespread frost and overnight with fog patches. Expect highs of 7 to 11C.
Monday So a cold, frosty start for most places and fog patches across central and southern England and in the Vale of York will clear. Rain is scheduled to spread into Northern Ireland in the afternoon. The rest of Britain looks fine and dry with good sunny spells. Heavy rain moves into western Britain in the evening then into most areas overnight so no frost expected. Expect highs of 8 to 12C.
